The Board of Directors, the managing body of the Association, is composed of ten members, the immediate past-president and the Executive Director. The Board administers decisions of the General Assembly, elaborates policies and manages programmes during the fiscal year.

The Executive of the Board of Directors is composed of the President, the Vice-President, the Treasurer, and the Past-President, as well as the Executive Director (ex-officio). The Board also appoints a Planning Committee charged with the task of designing the programme of the Annual Conference.

Please note that there are now changes to the composition of the Board of Directors due to the approval of the new constitution at the AGM held on May 31, 2011.

The Board meets twice a year in the autumn and before the Annual conference in late May or early June.
