| Standing Committe on Educational Policy | | | (from the CASWE Constitution - May 2008) Functions and Powers
The Standing Committee on Educational Policy shall: Prepare statements of educational policy to be recommended to the Board of Directors for presentation to the General Assembly. Review established educational policies and recommend amendments. To these ends, report the results of consultations with related constituencies to the Board of Directors. Composition and Terms of Reference
The Standing Committee on Educational Policy shall consist of at least four members of which one will be a member approved by RUFUTS. The Chair and members of the Standing Committee on Educational Policy shall be appointed by the Board of Directors, ensuring that there is bilingual representation, and with due regard to regional and gender representation. The term of office of members of the Standing Committee on Educational Policy shall be a three year non renewable term. One of the Members of the Standing Committee on Educational Policy is also a member of the Board of Accreditation.
