The CSWR welcomes articles of analytic and empirical merit (between 4,500 and 6,000 words) in either English or French. The journal is well known for its thorough and respectful peer review. For instructions regarding submissions, please refer to the calls for papers.

The CSWR seeks articles that have the following characteristics:

  • are original;
  • enrich or challenge existing knowledge;
  • accomplish a clearly stated purpose that includes an adequate conclusion and implications;
  • have internal consistency;
  • include up-to-date references;
  • have clearly defined concepts;
  • are presented in an interesting and concise style;
  • provide evidence of sound scholarship, including adequate methodology and argumentation;
  • are appropriate in terms of subject, length, and timeliness.
