Membership
 
Institutional membership may be held by university departments schools of professional education in social work which conduct an educational programme that is either accredited by the CASWE Board of Accreditation or is a candidate for such accreditation.

Provisional Membership may be held by university departments or schools planning to operate programmes of professional education in social work. 

Individual Members are individuals identified by the members of the Association as being in university social work education at either a teaching or student level or as an Alumni. Individuals wishing to become Individual Associates pay dues and receive such benefits as may be decided by CASWE. 

*The membership year is April 1st to March 31st.


As a Member you will receive  

  • An official attestation of your membership
  • Voting Rights at the Annual General Meeting*
  • Two issues of the Canadian Social Work Review
  • CASWE Directory of Schools
  • Reduced registration at CASWE-ACFTS Annual Conference
  • Notice of CASWE activities
  • Announce recent publications on our website.
* The Annual General Meeting, the governing body of the CASWE, is composed of delegates from each member organization, individual members and the Board of Directors.
