TO: D&D, BOA, BOD, and general membership FROM: Governance Task Force Please see below the final documents completed by the Governance Task Force (GTF) – A covering Report providing the background and highlighting significant changes in terms of CASWE governance, decision-making, and budget as well as actions taken on the recommendations contained in the GTF Report presented at last year’s AGM; the Organizational chart developed to support governance and decision-making; and a revised Constitution to support the new proposed CASWE structure. All three documents contain feedback given to the GTF through meetings with the Board of Directors, the Deans & Directors, the Board of Accreditation, and with Accreditation Task Force members. The GTF is now circulating the documents to the D&Ds and other constituencies within CASWE for distribution to faculty and staff for open discussion and feedback. The documents are also posted on the CASWE website for feedback as well. The GTF cannot express the significant importance of having as much input as possible from the membership. CASWE is at a critical juncture in determining its future, hence the importance of membership involvement and awareness. Please forward comments, feedback, suggestions to me as Chair of the GTF before April 20th. Your collaboration is very much appreciated. Respectfully,
